TALK #1: Parents as Coaches ~ A Fresh Perspective on Bringing out the Greatness in Your Child
Parents-as-Coaches
is an approach to parenting founded on the premise that our primary role as parents is to bring out the unique greatness in our children. Powered by love and centred on the well-being of the child, it integrates the heart of parenting with the practical discipline of coaching, enabling you to raise happy and confident children who manifest their innate potentials through being who they are, who they can be, and who they truly want to be. In this talk, the founder of International Network for Parents as Coaches (INPaC) introduces
the Seven Principles of Coaching for Parents the philosophy behind this fresh perspective and empowering approach to raising tomorrow’s heroes.

Talk #2: Basic Coaching Frameworks for Parents
A coaching framework provides the structure for carrying out the process of coaching. Without a structure, coaching sessions may easily turn out as a series of haphazard conversations that fail to help our children progress toward their goals. Through this talk, parents are introduced the following practical frameworks for coaching their children:-
• From Being to Thinking, Feeling to Doing
• Moving from ‘Vision’ to ‘Action’
• Emotional Coaching

Talk #3: Essential Coaching Skills for Parents
‘Coaching’ is a process of bringing out the greatness in someone. As with all disciplines, the process of coaching requires the knowledge and application of specific skills. This talk equips parents with some basic knowledge and hands-on experience in the following skills essential for coaching their children:
• Techniques for building rapport with children
• Effective questioning
• The art of active listening
• Giving supportive feedback
• The languages of coaching

The duration for each talk is one hour, typically followed by 15-30 minutes of Q&A. Parents may also attend a 4-hour workshop for each corresponding topic to gain an in-depth knowledge and experience through activities and role-plays.  FREE TALKS can be arranged for volunteer organisations.  As means to encourage parents with young children to play an active role in bringing out the best in their children,
discounts are available for pre-schools and childcare centres that are keen to extend their services through parent education.
