Gone Fishing - A Field of Dreams

Dreamers wanted ...

Do you a have dreams?

Is there something that you have always wanted to do?

What are you waiting for?

Every dream requires a field for its manifestation. Gone Fishing also serves as a space where fellow dreamers are invited to live their dreams. An aspiring singer had her singing debut. Poets read their writings. Artists exhibited their works. Café-owner wannabe’s gained behind-the-counter experience through apprenticeship.  A philosopher hosts regular philosophical discussions. Comedian-wannabe's  did a few stand-ups.  All are welcome to a space where dreamers dream, find the courage to pursue their dreams, and eventually live their dreams.

If you are seeking a physical space or some form of support for living your dreams, head down to the café, speak to the Fisher and explore some new possibilities!

Do you dream of running a café ?.... Join us and be our “Fishing Buddy”

Fishing Buddy is an apprenticeship programme for aspiring café owners  who wish to experience what it is like to really operate a café.  Buddies will commit to spending some time each week at Gone Fishing, not just as a part-time staff, but as 'proprietors'. Buddies are expected to exhibit ownership of the enterprise, while enjoying privileges that is unseen in other establishments.

We invite anyone with a passion for service and commitment to help fulfill our mission to encourage and enable the pursuit of happiness, meanings and fulfillment. Prior experience is not required as ample on-the-job training will be provided.  We are seeking people who are responsible, trustworthy, passionate, sociable, and preferably have a dream they could be living through their involvement at Gone Fishing.
