Catch a unique collection of
paintings of cats by Wai Lan, featuring her works from 1993 to 2005.
The public is invited to participate by submitting either photos or art
works related to "cats" to transform the gallery space to a haven for
cats.
Born in Hong Kong, Wai Lan
is a cat
lover who believes that cats and her make a perfect match as they both enjoy
a low-keyed private life. She used to keep a pair of Persian and a
pair of Siamese Cats. Formally trained in graphic design, she used to
run a design and production company in Hong Kong settling in Singapore. At
present, she juggles between painting and raising two young children. Her
works are exhibited regularly at Gone Fishing café and Baker's Inn at One
Fullerton. Other works include Heart Variations, Wonder Wares, Thoughts,
Oriental Butterflies and My Favourite Thought.
